There are many full-service salons out there that either don't know or won't spend the money to match wax products to body parts. Yeah, its spooky. Beware the one pot for all wax treatments that others offer!Were big on sanitation too, so we spend the money and go to the trouble of the little extras that all the salons and spas should be doing. At Wixy we never, ever, ever double dip. Does Wixy Wax take guys? Yep, in fact we love guys cause you're just so HAIRY. We wax athletes so they can do all that side line taping-up that protects against injury. We do necks, backs, and take the "uni" out of unibrow. We do swimmers chests, old men's hairy ears, young men, cowboys and indians; pretty much any guy who cares what they look like can benefit from a little Wixy Wax attention. Sorry though, we do have a not-for-males brazilian policy.And oh, what we can do for anyone's eyes. Has it been awhile since you've had your eyebrows professionally contoured? Our most FAQ is how far ahead of my wedding should I schedule? To which the truest answer is call me now and we'll chat. But if you'd prefer a, read about it answer, here goes: For silky smooth longest lasting results become a lifelong waxer. Waxing is kind of like getting in shape once you've got there it's easy to maintain and you'll never want to be anything else. So the optimum would be to start now and then schedule your pre-wedding appointment three or four days before the first day of your honeymoon. If your big day is nearly here, no worries, I've got a plan for that too. Three to four days before your wedding night come in for a total get-you -ready hair removal session. We have an on-going special at Wixy that gives you a freebie facial service whenever you schedule a Brazilian or Bikini. So you might as well choose to have your eyebrows or upper lip waxed at the same time. We can do underarms, forearms, legs or pretty much whatever bugs you. Some girls who are wearing their hair in an up-do have me wax away their sideburns and the back of the neck. It really does draw a beautiful line around the face to have that done.Then, have a beautiful wedding day and enjoy your clean and soft skin all through your honeymoon. When you return call for an appointment about three weeks out and well work you toward a more long lasting no-shaving state of bliss!Of all the many things we do to prepare, there is simply nothing else that will make a bride feel more beautiful than silky smooth just waxed skin.

The night before your appointment: Make sure the area to be waxed has hair growth of at least 1/4 inch long. Gently exfoliate the area with a loofah or a body wash. This will smooth the surface for waxing and prevent ingrown hairs.Before your appointment: Take ibprofen 30 minutes prior to your appointment if you feel unsure about tolerating mild discomfort. Come relaxed! Your esthetician will take great care of you and any discomfort is heightened by nervousness.Take note: We cannot perform any sort of waxing on skin that has recently been exposed to Retinol products, Accutane, extreme sun or if STD's have been diagnosed.Complimentary patch test- If you have never waxed before and are feeling slightly apprehensive, give us a call to schedule a complimentary patch test to see how your skin reacts. We recommend coming in at least 24 hours before a full treatment.
